Badger Creek rock is old natural basalt with beautifully different earth-tone colors of lichen and moss growing on it. Each rock tells a living story of the march of time that has ravaged it over the years. It has been described as rattlesnake rock, moss rock, and windswept rock. Badger Creek Rock has been lying on the ground for millennium, exposed to the wind, rain, snow and sun, which accounts for the never ending differences of sizes, shapes, holes and irregularities. It is not dug or quarry rock.
